MAY 23-29, 1993
WHEREAS, the members of emergency medical services teams devote their lives
to saving the lives of other, and
WHEREAS, emergency medical services teams consist of emergency physicians,
nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, educators, and administrators,
and
WHEREAS, the people of Weld County benefit daily from the knowledge and
skill of these trained individuals, and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to recognize the value and the accomplishments
of emergency medical services teams by designating Emergency Medical Services
Week.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Weld County Board of Commissioners in recognition of
this event does hereby proclaim the week of May 23-29, 1993, as Emergency Medical
Services Week, and encourages the community to observe this week with appropriate
programs, ceremonies, and activities.
