RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE WELD COUNTY ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH LEGAL ACTION
AGAINST CERTAIN PARTIES FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE WELD COUNTY BUILDING CODE
AND ZONING ORDINANCES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Michael and Robin Burns, VI #2057; Daniel Zavala, VI #2074; Annie
Vigil, VI #2053; Sam Wenzel, BCV #2105; and Hugo Franco, BCV #2108, are allegedly
in violation of the Weld County Building Code and/or Zoning Ordinances, and
WHEREAS, despite efforts by the Planning staff to resolve said matters, the
violations have not been corrected, and
WHEREAS, on the 10th day of May, 1994, a public hearing was held before the
Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of hearing any testimony relating
to said violations, and
WHEREAS, the hereinabove named persons were not present or represented at
said hearing, although all parties were notified of said hearing by the
Department of Planning Services staff, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it necessary to bring legal action against those
individuals as hereinabove named to correct said violations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Weld County Attorney be, and hereby is, authorized to
proceed with legal action against Michael and Robin Burns, Daniel Zavala, Annie
Vigil, Sam Wenzel, and Hugo Franco to remedy the violations of the Weld County
Building Code and/or Zoning Ordinances, and any other persons occupying the
properties, any persons claiming an interest in the properties, and any persons
acting in active concert with the identified parties.

The property referenced above remains in violation of the Weld County
Building Ordinance. I have scheduled a meeting with the Board of County
Commissioners on Tuesday, May 10, 1994 at 10:00 a.m. to consider the
Building Code Violation occurring on your property. This meeting will take
place in the County Commissioners' Hearing Room, first floor, Weld County
Centennial Center, 915 Tenth Street, Greeley, Colorado. It is recommended
that you or a representative be in attendance to answer any questions the
Board of County Commissioners might have about the violation.
The Department of Planning Services' staff will be recommending that the
Board of County Commissioners authorize the County Attorney to proceed with

I Am Writing this letter to you to apologize on my trailer conditions,
I would like to make you understand that I . n doing all the best that I
can. possible de to have mi trailer net only in conditions for a fiaaled,
Inspection, but also to have it ready se i and my family can live is it.
It has beet hard to pay space rent for almost a full year and not live in it.
I would also like to apologize for saner your letter so late, but as you,
know I dent live at the adress your letter was seat to, I have been living,
in Qilcrest while i could get my mebible home ready to live in it.
The main reason i haven't finished the home is mosey, I never thougt it was,
going to take so much money in moving it and fixing it, also utilities,
I also got behind on my bills, and before i knew it 3 had part of n'4 ,
salary check garnished ter about three mon$hs , Also at that time working,
hours went down to 32 hours a week, and with thee garnishment I was takia,
off I could net finish the trailer.
What I can say is that now my financial situation is doing better, and I
In back at the trailer trying to have it finished, for that reason I
would like to ask if possible have an extenssion on my permit se I can
get caught up , and have it finished.
