RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE WELD COUNTY ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH LEGAL ACTION
AGAINST CERTAIN PARTIES FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE WELD COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Planning Services has referred
certain violations of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance to the County Attorney's
Office, and
WHEREAS, those persons in violation of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance are
Francisco F. Meza, VI #1926; G.B.G. I, Inc. , c/o Ron Hiatt, VI 111930; Paul
Pearson, VI 111929; and Snyder Oil Company, VI #1919, and
WHEREAS, despite efforts by the Planning staff to resolve said matter, the
violations have not been corrected, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it necessary to bring legal action against those
individuals as hereinabove named to correct said violations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Thomas 0. David, Weld County Attorney, be, and hereby is,
authorized to proceed with legal action against Francisco F. Meza, G.B.G. I,
Inc. , c/o Ron Hiatt, Paul Pearson, and Snyder Oil Company to remedy the
violations of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance, and any other persons occupying
the properties, any persons claiming an interest in the properties, and any
persons acting in active concert with the identified parties.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted b the following/ i vote on the 26th day of October, A.D. , 1992.

Subject: Legal Action Authorization
The Department of Planning Services recommends that the Board of County
Commissioners authorize the Weld County Attorney to proceed with legal
action against the following parties for violations of the Weld County
Zoning Ordinance.

The Department of Planning also recommends that the County Attorney be
authorized to proceed with legal action against any other persons
occupying the properties, any persons claiming an interest in the
properties, and any persons acting in active concert with the
identified parties.
Copies of the violation materials are available at the Department of
Planning Services' office or the Weld County Attorney' s office.
