RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING REQUEST TO WAIVE BID PROCEDURE AND AUTHORIZE
OIL AND GAS LEASE WITH H & C COLTON COMPANY - NsSW,' S34, T5N, R66W
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a request from William Crews,
Agent for H & C Colton Company, to waive the bid procedure and authorize an Oil
and Gas Lease on a strip of land in the N4SW* Section 34, Township 5 North,
Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on January 18, 1993, at which
time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to February 17, 1993,
and then again to March 3, 1993 at 9:00 a.m. , and
WHEREAS, at said hearing before the Board on March 3, 1993, the Board
deemed it advisable to continue said matter to April 14, 1993 at 9:00 a.m. , to
allow staff adequate time to determine the correct lease form to be used.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that this matter will be reconsidered by the Board on April 14,
1993, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following n vote on the 3rd day of March, A.D. , 1993.
