RE : J .H . and Myrna Lavon Hayes .
In the normal course of business for Weld County Assessor' s
office 1 personally inspected certain agricultural land for
property classification .
After visual inspection of Section 10 , Township 1 north , Range
65 west of the 6th PM, it was discovered that parcel 009 was
incorrectly classified as 0540 residential vacant land , which
resulted in an incorrect valuation for 1989 and several prior
years . The error in classification corrected in 1990 as 4117 ,
agricultural land , which results in a much lower valuation .
The owners/taxpayers are asking for an abatement to the
agricultural. classification for years 1988 and 1989 .

will hear your petition for tax abatement or refund on the
