RE: APPROVE AGREEMENT WITH TOWN OF FIRESTONE FOR MAINTENANCE OF STREETS IN
EVANSTON AND FIRESTONE AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Agreement for maintenance of
streets in Evanston and Firestone between the County of Weld, State of Colorado,
by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the
Weld County Public Works Department, and the Town of Firestone, commencing
April 1, 1994, and ending April 1, 1995, with further terms and conditions being
as stated in said agreement, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said
agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Agreement for maintenance of streets in Evanston and
Firestone between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Public Works
Department, and the Town of Firestone be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is,
authorized to sign said agreement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of April, A.D. , 1994, nunc pro tunc

AGREEMENT BETWEEN WELD COUNTY AND THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO
TED AGREEMENT is made and entered into this /soh day
of 1994, by and between THE COUNTY OF WELD, STATE OF
COLORADO, y and through the Board of County Commissioners of the County of
Weld, Colorado, hereinafter referred to as "First Party" whose address is 915
10th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631, and THE TOWN OF FIRESTONE, COLORADO,
whose address is 150 Buchanan, P.O. Box 100, Firestone, Colorado 80520,
hereinafter referred to as "Second Party" .
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, First Party is desirous of having the streets of the
unincorporated area of Weld County, Colorado, commonly known as "Evanston"
swept one time in 1994 by the Town of Firestone, and
WHEREAS, Second Party is desirous of having First Street and Grant Avenue
in "Firestone" striped by Weld County once a year.
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the covenants contained
herein, First Party and Second Party agree to the following:
1. First Party agrees to stripe First Street and Grant Avenue in the
Town of "Firestone" one time in 1994.
2. Second Party agrees to sweep the streets in the unincorporated area
of Weld County, Colorado, commonly known as "Evanston" with its
street sweeper one time in 1994.
3. This agreement shall run for one year beginning April 1, 1994.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto agree the terms and conditions
stated forth herein as of this /1 day of ttfYtt�C' , 1994.
