Dear County Commissioners:
The Town of Milliken hereby gives notice of cancellation of the agreement for building
inspections by Weld County within the Town of Milliken effective June 1 , 1993. As
outlined in the agreement, we request the County complete final inspections on all
outstanding permits issued under this agreement and the Town will pay all outstanding
fees within thirty days of final billing.
Thank you for providing us the service we have received during the time period covered
by this agreement. The Department of Building Inspections has a very competent and
efficient staff and the Town has enjoyed working with them.
The Board of Trustees recognizes certain benefits in contracting with a private firm for
building inspections.
We wish to thank Weld County for the cooperation and service provided to the
municipalities of this county.
