RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENT AND APPOINTMENTS TO WELD COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Planning Commission,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Richard Kimmel, District 1, be
reappointed to said commission, and
WHEREAS, it has also been recommended that Ron Sommer, District 2, and
Marie Koolstra, At-Large, be appointed to said commission, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Richard Kimmel to said
commission, with his term to expire July 31, 1996, and
WHEREAS, the Board also deems it advisable to appoint Ron Sommer and Marie
Koolstra to said commission, with their terms to expire July 31, 1996.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Richard Kimmel be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Weld
County Planning Commission, with his term to expire July 31, 1996.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Ron Sommer and Marie Koolstra be,
and hereby are, appointed to said commission, with their terms to expire July 31,
1996.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 16th day of August, A.D. , 1993.

Please add the following to the board's Monday, August 16, 1993, agenda:
Weld County Planning Commission
District 1 - Richard Kimmel will be reappointed.
District 2 - Ron Sommer will be appointed to replace Jean Hoffman.
At-Large - Marie Koolstra will be appointed to replace Donald Feldhaus.
All terms expire July 31, 1996.
