Home My WebLink About900707.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING DEMOLITION OF DANGEROUS BUILDING - L & W PARTNERSHIP WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, on August 8 , 1990 , the Department of Planning Services informed the Board that a building considered to be dangerous to persons under the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings is on property described as the SWi of Section 26 , Township 3 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, said property being owned by L & W Partnership, and WHEREAS, at the meeting of August 8 , the Planning staff recommended that the Board grant the owner an extension of time, until September 19 , 1990 , to clean up and remove the debris from the property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that L & W Partnership be, and hereby is, granted an extension of time, until September 19, 1990, to clean up and remove the debris from the hereinabove mentioned property. I explained in more detail about the violation. Mr. Louwagie indicated that he wanted the property to be in compliance. I offered to send him pictures of the property taken on July 17, 1990, and a list of the demolition specifications the County uses when requesting bids for demolition and clean-up work. I explained the hearing process to him and how he could request an extension of time in writing. He indicated he would probably send a letter requesting an extension of time to clean up the property to be in compliance.
