RESOLUTION GRANTING
PETITION FOR CATTLE
GUARD:
•
WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to install a
cattle guard between Sections 30 and 31, Township 9 North, Range
60 West, and
WHEREAS, it would seem to this Board that it will not •
interfere with the public use of the road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this petition be
granted subject to all the rules, regulations and agreements contained
• in this petition, which petition is attached hereto and made a part •
of this resolution.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, unanimously adopted:

Petition for permission to establish and maintain cattle
guards.
I, We, the undersigned owner, owners, of the following de—
scribed land, to wit:
South half ( Si) of Section Thirty (30) and the
Southwest quarter (SW-,}) of Section Twenty-nine
(29) Township Nine (9) North Range Sixty (60)
together with other property in this territory.
adjoining County Highway Number running (state direction)' .
Easterly and Westerly between Section number 30 and 31
Township 9 North , Range 60 West and Sections 31
Township 9 North , Range 60 West of the Sixth Principal
Meridian in Weld County, Colorado, respectfully petition your Honor-
able Board to permit me, us, to establish, and my, our, successors
in interest to maintain one cattle guards located on said
highway at the following location (a). (Describe exactly in detail).
At the Southeast corner of Section Thirty and
the Northeast corner of Section Thirty-one
The only school, church, grazing district or cemetery located
on said highway is located more than six miles distant from said
cattle guard. Said cattle guards shall be constructed in such manner
as may be required by your Board and so as not to unnecessarily or
unreasonably obstruct or interfere with the use of any highway by
children or other persons riding or driving horses.. It, (They) are
conveniently reached by other roads as follows:
Said cattle guard (s) are desired because:

exclusively or most conveniently served by said highway and within a

and statements of their respective desires in respect to the'grant—
ing of this petition are affixed or attached hereto.
I, We, agree that if permission is granted by your Board, I,
we, will establish and construct said cattle guards in accordance
with the attached plans and specifications at my, our, own expense
and will keep and maintain each said cattle guard in conformity with
said plans and specifications and with any additional specifications. '
which may be hereafter required or imposed as to such cattle guards, .
and on demand by said Board will remove same, and will at my, our,
own expense restore said highway to its former condition, or fail—
ing so to do within fifteen (15) days after demand will be liable
to and will pay to said county its expense of so doing; and I, we,
will mark and guard said cattle guards and approaches thereto during
construction, use and removal so as far as practicable, to protect :
the public and all persons using said cattle guards and highway.
