RE: APPROVE CERTIFICATION OF INTENT TO PROCEED TO COLORADO TRANSPORTATION
COMMISSION AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN - BRIDGE #50/67A
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Certification of Intent to
Proceed to be submitted to the Colorado Transportation Commission for Special
Bridge Funds for Weld County Bridge #50/67A by the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on
behalf of the Weld County Public Works Department, with terms and conditions
being as stated in said certification, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said
certification, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Certification of Intent to Proceed to be submitted to
the Colorado Transportation Commission for Special Bridge Funds for Weld County
Bridge #50/67A by the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Public Works
Department be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is,
authorized to sign said certification.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 29th day of June, A.D. , 1994.

CERTIFICATION OF INTENT TO PROCEED
The County of Weld hereby certifies to the Colorado
.dighway,-=Commission 'that it. .intends to proceed with the .-Bridge Project,
Structure Number WFI 050.0-067.OA , for which it received Special
Bridge Fund Account monies; and certifies that it has, or will have
January 1 1445 (date) , the required twenty percent local
matching funds. Attached is a design engineer's preliminary cost estimate
and. a specific construction schedule, including a project start date and a
projected project completion date, pursuant to the State Department of
Highway's Procedural Directive Number 43. 1, paragraph 5*.
