Home My WebLink About900124.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF 45-MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT SIGNS ON WELD COUNTY ROAD 33 NEAR WELD COUNTY ROAD 88 WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS , the Engineering Department has recommended to the Board that 45-mile per hour speed limit signs be installed on Weld County Road 33 , from three-eighths of a mile south of Weld County Road 88 to the south limits of the Town of Pierce, and WHEREAS , the Board did determine that speed limit signs be installed as indicated on the diagram attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and WHEREAS, upon recommendation of the Engineering Department, the Board has determined that the installation of said signs are necessary for the protection of the general public. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Engineering Department be, and hereby is , directed to install 45-mile per hour speed limit signs on Weld County Road 33, from three-eighths of a mile south of Weld County Road 88 to the south limits o fthe Town of Pierce, said signs shall conform to the State Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
