RE: GRANT MOBILE HOME PERMIT 111900 - HARO
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, on the
30th day of March, 1994, considered the request of Alberto and Maria Haro, 27123
7th Avenue, Gill, Colorado 80624, for a mobile home to be used as a principal
dwelling, and
WHEREAS, said mobile home is to be occupied in an A (Agricultural) Zone
District on a parcel of land being more particularly described as follows:
Lot 11, Block 9, Gill, Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, having heard the testimony,
finds that said request should be granted subject to the following conditions:
1. Prior to the occupancy of the mobile home, the mobile home shall be
connected to an approved septic system and a legal water supply.
2. The septic and leachfield for this mobile home shall be located on
Lot 11. The septic and leachfield for the residence on Lots 9 and
10 shall be located on Lots 9 and 10.
3. Only the one dwelling, the on-site stick built structure, shall be
located on Lots 9 and 10. All other structures shall not be used
for temporary or overnight housing.
4. The mobile home shall not be occupied until such time that the
applicant has complied with conditions 1, 2, and 3 above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the request of Alberto and Maria Haro for permission to
place a mobile home to be used as a principal dwelling on the above described
parcel of land, which was found to be in compliance with Section 43 of the Weld
County Zoning Ordinance, be, and hereby is, granted subject to the hereinabove
listed conditions.

The Department of Planning Services staff has reviewed this request and
recommends that the request be approved for the following reasons:
WILL WILL NOT
X Be compatible with the Weld County Comprehensive
Plan.
X Be compatible with the surrounding area.
X Be in harmony with the character of the
neighborhood.
X Adversely affect the immediate area.
X Be adequately served by water and sewage disposal
facilities.
X Adversely affect the general health, safety, and
welfare of the inhabitants of the area and the County.
COMMENTS:
The Department of Planning Services' staff recommendation for approval is
conditional upon the following:
1. Prior to the occupancy of the mobile home, the mobile home shall be
connected to an approved septic system and a legal water supply.
2. The septic and leachfield for this mobile home shall be located on Lot 11.
The septic and leachfield for the residence on Lots 9 and 10 shall be
located on Lots 9 and 10.
3. Only the one dwelling, the on-site stick built structure, shall be located

After conferring with you on the telephone, I have realized that an amendment to
my original recommendation on this matter is necessary. Thank you for bring the
matter of the septic system locations for these lots to my attention. The
conflicting locations of the existing and proposed septic systems were not
evident from our review of our records. As I understand from our conversation,
the applicant proposes to locate each system on a separate lot from the one in
which its respective dwelling is located. The Division requires that the septic
system be located on the same lot as the dwelling that it serves.
