RE: APPROVE ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION TO WELD COUNTY HEALTH
DEPARTMENT FROM FRANKLIN D. YODER, M.D.
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Franklin D. Yoder, M.D. , donated a painting of a
mountain scene in Wyoming to the Weld County Health Department,
and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of Weld County to formally accept
all donations via Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the donation of a
painting of a mountain scene in Wyoming to the Weld County Health
Department from Franklin D. Yoder, M.D. , be, and hereby is,
accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that a copy of this
Resolution, along with a letter of appreciation, be forwarded to
Franklin D. Yoder.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of
August, A.D. , 1990 .

Dear Mr. Brantner:
I would be pleased to donate a mountain painting to Weld County
Health Department. The picture is of a mountain scene in Wyoming
and rather large for an ordinary room (32 1/2" x 51 1/8") . The
artist is a Wyoming physician who donated it to me.
I would request permission to add a small plaque (Gift of Franklin
D. Yoder, M.D. ; Director 1973 - 1979) .
