RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING SUBDIVISION PRELIMINARY PLAN - DOS RIOS
ESTATES, 2ND FILING, CIO JOYCE ALLELY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 12th day of
October, 1994, at the hour of 10:00 a.m. in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing
the application of Dos Rios Estates, 2nd Filing, c/o Joyce Allely, 17 Dos Rios, Greeley, Colorado
80634, for a Subdivision Preliminary Plan on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Part of Section 34, Township 5 North, Range 66
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, at said hearing on October 12, 1994, the Board deemed it advisable to
continue said matter to November 7, 1994, at 1:30 p.m., to allow the applicant further time to
resolve certain issues, and
WHEREAS, at said hearing on November 7, 1994, Zach Allely represented said applicant,
and Planning staff informed the Board that the applicant has requested a further continuance, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, after hearing all of the testimony and
statements of those present, deemed it advisable to continue said matter to November 28, 1994,
at 10:00 a.m., to allow the applicant further time to gather materials for staffs review.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the application of Dos Rios Estates, 2nd Filing, c/o Joyce Allely, for a
Subdivision Preliminary Plan on the hereinabove described parcel of land be, and hereby is,
continued to November 28, 1994, at 10:00 a.m.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 7th day of November, A.D., 1994.

A public hearing was conducted on November 7, 1994, at 1:30 p.m., with the following
present:
Commissioner W. H. Webster, Chairman
Commissioner Dale K. Hall, Pro-Tem
Commissioner George E. Baxter
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Planning Department representative, Gloria Dunn
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated September 21, 1994, and duly published
September 29, 1994, in the Windsor Beacon, a public hearing was conducted on
October 12, 1994, to consider the request of Dos Rios Estates, 2nd Filing, do Joyce Allely,
for a Subdivision Preliminary Plan. At said hearing on October 12, 1994, the Board
continued said matter to November 7, 1994, at 1:30 p.m., at which time Bruce Barker,
County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Gloria Dunn, Planning Department
representative, stated the applicant has requested a further continuance to allow time to
gather the materials requested by the Board. She noted staff would like several days to
review said materials once submitted. Zach Allely represented the applicant, and
discussion ensued concerning an agreeable continuance date. No public testimony was
offered concerning the continuance of this matter. Commissioner Harbert moved to
continue the request of Dos Rios Estates, 2nd Filing, c/o Joyce Allely, for a Subdivision
Preliminary Plan to November 28, 1994, at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by
Commissioner Baxter, and it carried unanimously.
