RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF STANLEY C. PEEK, ATTORNEY, AS SPECIAL
COUNSEL CONCERNING SICK LEAVE BANK HEARING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners o£ Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a hearing has been scheduled concerning the Sick
Leave Bank, and due to a conflict of interest, the Board deems it
advisable that neither the County Attorney nor a member of his
staff participate in said hearing, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Stanley C.
Peek, Attorney, as Special Counsel at said hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Stanley C. Peek,
Attorney, be , and hereby is , appointed as Special Counsel for the
hearing concerning the Sick Leave Bank.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 7th day of
November, A.D. , 1990 . -
