RE: Recommended Change to the Home Rule ah*te£&Meld County
Relating to the Position of County Coroner
The Weld County Council hereby recommends placement on the November
1994 election ballot, a change to the Home Rule Charter of Weld County, Article VI,
Section 6-5(4) that the words "and the Coroner" be deleted. So that Section 6-5(4)
would read, "Except for County Councilmen, each county office shall be the primary
employment of the officer during the term for which he is elected or appointed."
The above and foregoing Proposal was on Motion duly made by Councilman
Young and seconded by Vice President Gardner on the 1st day of June, 1994 with a
roll call vote as follows: Councilwoman Janda (absent); Councilman On (absent);
Coucilman Young (Yea); Vice President Gardner (Yea); President Campbell (Yea).
