RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO SUBCONTRACT AGREEMENT BETWEEN WELD COUNTY AND
GREELEY/WELD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTION PARTNERSHIP AND AUTHORIZE
CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Amendment to a Subcontract
Agreement between Weld County and Economic Development Action Partnership (EDAP) ,
with terms and conditions being as stated in said amendment, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said
amendment, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Amendment to a Subcontract Agreement between Weld
County and EDAP be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is,
authorized to sign said amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of August, A.D. , 1993.

AMENDMENT
SUBCONTRACT AGREEMENT BETWEEN WELD COUNTY AND
GREELEY/WELD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTION PARTNERSHIP
This amendment to an agreement dated the 20th day of November, 1989, is
entered into this 18th day of August, 1993, by and between the Weld County Board
of County Commissioners (hereinafter "the County") and the Greeley/Weld Economic
Development Action Partnership (hereinafter EDAP) .
Witnesseth:
WHEREAS, the County and EDAP entered into an agreement to receive a
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the State of Colorado Department
of Local Affairs for a multi-jurisdictional economic development revolving loan
fund, and
WHEREAS, the amount of the grant award has increased from $250, 000 to
$850, 000, and the amount allowed for "Specific Provisions" has increased from
$12, 000 to $52, 000.
NOW THEREFORE, the above referenced subcontract is hereby amended to
reflect the increased award from $250, 000 to $850, 000 and the increased amount
for "Specific Provisions" from $12,000 to $52, 000 wherever referenced in the
subcontract.
BE IT FURTHER all other provisions, conditions, and terms of the
subcontract remain
the same.
