Mr. Warren offered the following Resolution and moved its adoption:
RESCLL'TICN
WHEREAS, Mr. R'. C. Edmundson, Superintendent of the Federal
Experiment Station located near Greeley, Colorado, has informed
us that, under the present federal ruling, no government funds
can be expended for the construction of buildings on land not
federally owned, and that in order to obtain further construction
at said experiment station, it is necessary to have the site of
the proposed improvement, to wit:
A tract of land in ;held County, Colorado, described
as follows: Beginning at a point 160 feet South of the
Northwest corner of Section Thirty-five (35), Township
Six (6) North, Range Sixty-five (65) West of the Sixth
Principal Meridian; thence East 375 feet; thence South
585 feet; thence West 375 feet; thence North 585 feet to
a point of beginning, containing five (5) acres, more or
less,
conveyed to federal ownership, and
WHEREAS, such improvement is essential to the proper develop_
ment and operation of said Experimant Station, and is for the
benefit of the people of Weld County, and
WHEREAS, title to said land is now held by the Colorado
State Board of Agriculture as Trustee, Now Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, does hereby approve the transfer of said
five (5) acres of land above described by said State Board to the
federal government without cost, and the execution and delivery
by said Board of such deed of conveyance as said federal govern-
ment or its affected agency may require.
Mr. Hanson seconded the motion, and it was unanimously carried.

I, Ann Spomer, County Clerk and ex-officio Cierk of the Board of
County Commissioners in and for the County and State aforesaid, do hereby
certify that the annexed and foregoing record of proceedings and resolu-
tion is truly copied from the Records of the proceedings of the Board of
County Commissioners for said Weld County, held on May 21, 1946, now in
my office.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal
of said County, at Greeley, this 21st day of May, A. D. 19146.
