RE: APPROVE INCREASE IN CHANGE FUND FOR THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Health Department has requested that its change fund be
increased from $100.00 to $200.00, and
WHEREAS, the Comptroller of Weld County and Director of Finance and
Administration have recommended that said change fund be increased to $200.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the change fund for the Health Department be, and hereby
is, increased from $100.00 to $200.00.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 30th day of August, A.D. , 1993.

Subject: Increase Petty Cash Fund
I would like to request increasing the Health Department's cash fund allocation
to $200.00. The department frequently has to utilize this fund to make change
for the central cashier and vital statistics. Currently we have found it
necessary to also use cash from daily deposits in order to have adequate cash on
hand.
I believe it is necessary to increase the cash fund to alleviate this problem and
allow the Health Department to properly handle the daily deposit.
