WHEREAS, The County Commissioners of Weld County,
State of Colorado, at a duly and lawfully called regular meeting held on the 12th day

This is to advise you that the Board of Weld County Commissioners will hear your
petition for tax abatement or refund on the property described as: 24802-B PT
SE,' 9 1 68 BEG 380'W of E 16TH COR N300' E165' N325' TO TRUE BEG. The meeting
is scheduled for Monday, July 12, 1993 at 9:00 a.m. at which time you may be
heard. The Assessor is recommending that the Board deny your petition.
The meeting will be held in the Chambers of the Board, Weld County Centennial
Center, First Floor, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado, at the above specified
time.

1. Sold remaining horses, last horse on property was
removed in early Aug, 1991
2 . Could not farm alfalfa due court order
3 . Paid for and ran ditch water
4 . Moved back into farm house on 1 Nov, 1991
Year 1992
1. Started repairs on barn and other out-building in
Feb, 1992 to shelter livestock, continuing to up-
grade barn to date
2 . Started repair on field fences in April , 1992,
continuing repairs to date
3 . Installed electric fence
4 . Paid for and ran ditch water
5 . Could not corp alfalfa due to wife sold tractor in
May, 1991 against court order.
6. Bought 6 sheep from Lafayette sale barn in Oct 1992
YEAR 1993
1. Bought 5 pregnant Ewes in late Feb, 1993
2 . Bought replacement International 60 horse power
tractor in April, 1993
3 . Ewes lambed in April and May, 1993 , 8 lambs
I would not have put over $14, 000. 00 into farm equipment,
$15, 000. 00 in out building, farm the land and untold hours in
labor if I just wanted to skip paying a higher tax rate.
