RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING REQUEST FROM MIKE AND PAM GUTTERSEN FOR
PREADVERTISEMENT OF PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR A SUBDIVISION (RANGEVIEW RANCHES)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from Mike and Pam Guttersen,
26780 Weld County Road 36, LaSalle, Colorado 80645, for preadvertisement of an
application for a Preliminary Plan for a Subdivision (Rangeview Ranches) , and
WHEREAS, said property is described as part of the SW,' of Section 21,
Township 5 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Weld County Home Rule Charter, Article 3,
Section 3-13, the concurrence of three of the members of the board is required
to approve a Resolution, and
WHEREAS, the motion to approve said request received only two votes and
therefore failed; the effect of the failure to obtain a majority vote is a denial
of the motion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the request from Mike and Pam Guttersen for
preadvertisement of an application for a Preliminary Plan for a Subdivision
(Rangeview Ranches) be, and hereby is, deemed denied.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of June, A.D. , 1994.

advertisement. The attached letter expresses the request. The Planning
Commission hearing for this case is scheduled for Thursday, July 7, 1994. The
next available Board of County Commissioners meeting after the Planning
Commission hearing is July 13, 1994. Please determine whether this case should
be pre-advertised and what date would be the best to hear this case if pre-
advertising is appropriate.
