Home My WebLink About941140.tiff RESOLUTION RE: DECLARE CERTAIN VEHICLES AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZE SALE OF SAME WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Administrative Manual require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with various bid proposals for the sale of vehicles impounded by the Sheriffs Department, Bid Request No. 043-94, and WHEREAS,the County has determined that certain vehicles, as described in said proposal which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, are no longer required for County use, and WHEREAS,the Board has been presented with high bid proposals as follows: 1969 Honda CT-90 Motorcycle to Walt Mar for$10.00; 1978 Honda Accord 2D to Danny Hart for $41; 1977 Chevy Vega to Tom's Conoco for$35.00; 1974 Ford Pick-up to Tom's Conoco for$229; and Chevy Chevette HB to Tom's Conoco for$32.00, and WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to declare said vehicles as surplus and approve said bid proposals to the above mentioned high bidders. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the above mentioned vehicles be, and hereby are, declared surplus. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the above mentioned bid proposals be, and hereby are, approved.
