RE: APPROVE AGREEMENT TO LEASE EQUIPMENT WITH GREELEY-WELD COUNTY
AIRPORT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Agreement to lease a 1985 tandem
dump truck, asset #15440005, with VIN #1GDT9C4J3FV626284, between the County of Weld,
State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and the
Greeley-Weld County Airport, commencing November 1, and ending March 15, 1995, with further
terms and conditions being as stated in said agreement, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said agreement, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Agreement to lease the above described equipment between the County
of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
and the Greeley-Weld County Airport be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said agreement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 14th day of November, A.D., 1994.

Dear Sirs:
The Commissioners of Weld County agree to lease to the Greeley-Weld County Airport a
1985 tandem dump truck, asset#15440005, with VIN#1GDT9C4J3FV626284. This unit will be
leased at the rate of$.67 per mile that will cover all necessary maintenance to the unit. No
additional repair cost will be assessed to the airport for normal use of the unit.
The airport will be responsible for all fuel usage on the unit, and will assure that the unit
will be used with utmost care and not abused. Any damage to the vehicle caused by negligence
or operator abuse shall be paid for by airport. They further agree to bring the unit to the Weld
County Motor Pool shop for all required maintenance. Airport shall insure the vehicle for all
property and casualty losses, plus indemnify Weld County from any liability incurred while
vehicle is being operated by employee or agent of the Airport.
The term of this agreement shall be from /SI0 u; / , 1994 until /,,re 4 /. ,
1995. At the end of this agreement the airport will have an option to purchase the vehicle for the
wholesale value of the unit at that time.
