RE: APPROVE REVISION TO 1994 HOUSING AUTHORITY BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Revision to the 1994 Housing
Authority Budget, on behalf of the Weld County Housing Authority, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said
revision, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, ex-officio Housing Authority Board, that the Revision to the
1994 Housing Authority Budget be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 24th day of October, A.D. , 1994.

SUBJECT: Housing Authority Budget Revision for 1994
DATE: October 18, 1994
As discusssed at the Housing Authority Work Session of October 17, 1994 staff is recommending
Board approval of the attached budget revisions for the 1994 Housing Authority Budget. Included in
the Budget revisions are the additional costs associated with the office partitions and equipment which
was installed by Social Service in our office area. Also included were the computer software and
equipment which was installed by SCT to up-grade our computer system. Miscellaneous Cost relate
to the Catholic Community Services funds for the development of their seasonal farm worker housing
project, which were paid out during 1994. The balance of the $38,000, committed to Catholic
Community Services, will be included in the 1995 budget. Finally, the revisions include the remainder
of the Housing Development Grant funds which were provided to Catholic Community Services for the
rehabilitation of the Guadalupe Center.
The revenue for the additional items came from our operating reserve funds for the Section 8 Certificate
and Voucher programs, with the exception of the Housing Development Grant funds, which came from
that specific grant.
