RE: DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN WEEDS AS UNDESIRABLE PLANTS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held on February 5, 1992, to give opportunity to any
interested persons to testify as to whether or not Canada Thistle (Cirsium
Arvense) and Musk Thistle (Carduus Nutans) should be added to the County-wide
list of designated undesirable plants which must be managed pursuant to Article
5.5 of Title 35, CRS, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to add the above named plants to the
list of designated undesirable plants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Canada Thistle (Cirsium Arvense) and Musk Thistle (Carduus
Nutans) be, and hereby are, added to the County-wide list of designated
undesirable plants which must be managed pursuant to Article 5.5 of Title 35,
CRS.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of February, A.D. , 1992.

NOTICE
Docket No. 92-07
Pursuant to Section 35-5.5-108(3) , C.R.S. , notice is hereby given that a
hearing will be held before the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, on the 5th day of February, 1992, at 9:00 a.m. , in the First Floor
Hearing Room, Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado,
at which time the Board will consider the addition of the plants Canada Thistle
(Cirsium Arvense) and Musk Thistle (Carduus Nutans) to the County-wide list of
designated undesirable plants, which must be managed pursuant to Article 5.5 of
Title 35, Colorado Revised Statutes.
All interested persons should appear at said hearing and give testimony as
to whether or not the above named plants should be added to the County-wide list
of designated undesirable plants.
