RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRPERSONS FOR WELD COUNTY EMPLOYEE GRIEVANCE
BOARD, PURSUANT TO WELD COUNTY PERSONNEL POLICY HANDBOOK, WELD COUNTY
ORDINANCE NO. 118, AS AMENDED
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2C of Weld County Ordinance No. 118, as
amended, entitled "Composition of Grievance Board", and that portion of the Weld
County Personnel Policy Handbook, entitled "Grievance Hearings", the Board of
County Commissioners must appoint chairpersons for the Employee Grievance Board,
and
WHEREAS, said chairpersons must have backgrounds in labor relations and/or
the legal profession.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the chairpersons for the Weld County Employee Grievance
Board shall be the following individuals: Don Hoff, Lynn Karowsky, and Arthur
Roy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that one chairperson shall be selected
from the above stated list of individuals for each different employee grievance
hearing held in accordance with said Weld County Ordinance No. 118, as amended.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by
the following vote on the 10th day of March, A.D. , 1993.
