MEMORANDUM
TO: George Kennedy, Chairman, Board of County Commissioners
FROM: Judy A. Griego, Director, Social Services a DATE: October 8, 1992
SUBJECT: Revision of the Notification of Financial Assistance Award for
Placement Alternatives Commission (PAC) Funds with Child Advocacy
Resource and Education
Enclosed for board approval is a revision to the Notification of Financial
Assistance Award for Placement Alternatives Commission (PAC) Funds with Child
Advocacy Resource and Education.
The Placement Alternatives Commission is recommending this revision based
upon a series of meetings conducted to review CARE's Unit of Service Cost.
This action constitutes a second revision. The revision specifics are as
follows:
1. The Unit of Service Cost increases from $4.29 an hour to $10.00
per hour.
2. The monthly rate per Unit of Service increases from $171.42 to
$400.00.
3. The total yearly budget of $28,800 remains unchanged.
4. The Unit of Service Definition is clarified. The monthly program
capacity and average capacity numbers are family units, not
individual family member units. Thus, the monthly program
capacity decreases from 18 to 6; and the monthly average capacity
from 14 to 6.
