Re: Chain Store Application for Cono-Services, Inc., d/b/a Conoco.
Dear Sir or Madam:
This is to advise you that the State Liquor Enforcement Division has, at your

persons:
David Charles Rising
Robert B. Merchant
Keith A. Pichanick
James G. Fuqua, Jr.
DOB

This Division has not received the fingerprints results back for
JAMES G. FUQUA, JR. his prints were submitted to CBI on
Sept. 9, 1993.

You must check with the local licensing authority to determine what documents
they may require of you to process your application. Please feel free to provide
them with a copy of this letter, as many local authorities will not require you to
submit fingerprint cards to them if you have already submitted such documents
to the State Liquor Enforcement Division. This letter will serve to inform the
local authorities exactly which documents you have already submitted to the State
Liquor Enforcement Division.
Finally, once the local authority has approved your application, it must be sent to
the Liquor Enforcement Division. The only documents which are needed by the
Division are:
1. The approved application signed by the local authority;
2. The appropriate fees;
3. A copy of this letter,
4. Proof of possession of the premises;
5. A diagram of the licensed premises;
6. Completed form DR 8367, if manager's registration is required.

To Whom It May Concern:
I most strongly attest to the superior character and honesty
of Mr. James G. Fuqua, Retail Marketing Manager, Cono Services.
Since meeting in 1979 as neighbors in Texas, I have been continually
impressed by the exceptional integrity of Jim Fuqua. As local civic
board president, he displayed an intuitive balance of direction and
diplomacy while dealing with the diverse personalities and penchants
of our rapidly fluctuating suburban Houston community. He
accomplished this through leadership by example, and an unwavering
commitment to honesty in all of his dealings.
His approach to business and his personal life carry the same stamp
of moral strength, and a non -judgmental concern for those around him.
Jim is one of those rare individuals with the acumen to see the right
course, and the management ability to follow it with as much ease and
good humor as possible.
Jim would serve as an excellent representative for Cono Services in
beer licensing and associated legal matters in the Rockies region.
His commitment to the goals of such programs as LBSOP is complete
and enthusiastic. You need look no further than his two fine
children, Elaine and Jim or the countless others he has influenced as
coach, mentor or friend, to see his concern for the proper
protection and guidance of our youth.
Jim Fuqua is a man of strong moral fiber, superior wit and exemplary
leadership. It is a pleasure and a privilege to make these
statements on his behalf.
Sincerely,
Charles A. Titlow
