RE: RESCIND RESOLUTION CONCERNING ALLOCATION OF FEDERAL FUNDS
RECEIVED FOR PAWNEE GRASSLANDS
WHEREAS, the Board of. County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution approved on October 8 ,
1990, the Board determined that the allocation of Federal Funds
received for Pawnee Grasslands would be 27 .5% for the 1991 budget
and 58 beginning in 1992 , and
WHEREAS, on October 10 , 1990 , Thomas O. David, Weld County
Attorney, advised the Board that the present Board of County
Commissioners cannot bind future Boards on matters of this nature,
and that the determination of allocation of said funds must be
done when the funds are received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Resolution of
October 8 , 1990 , allocating said Federal Funds for budget years
1991 and 1992, be, and hereby is, rescinded.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 10th day of
October, A.D. , 1990 .
