RE: AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING BODY OF WELD COUNTY TO INVEST ITS SURPLUS MONEYS
IN THE INVESTMENT TRUST OF COLORADO, A COLORADO SURPLUS MONEYS POOL
("ITC")
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received and reviewed the Information Statement
dated February 1, 1991, describing the INVESTMENT TRUST OF COLORADO ("ITC") and
the Indenture creating ITC, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been afforded the opportunity to discuss ITC with
all appropriate representatives of ITC, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it in the best interest of Weld County to appoint
Francis M. Loustalet as its Designated Representative to participate in ITC.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners o£ Weld
County, Colorado, that Francis M. Loustalet be, and hereby is, appointed as Weld
County's Designated Representative to participate in ITC.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Indenture be, and hereby is,
approved, and the Designated Representative is hereby appointed and authorized
to execute the Indenture on behalf of Weld County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board acknowledges that its decision to
authorize the participation in ITC is based solely on the information set forth
in the Information Statement and in the Indenture, and the Board hereby
acknowledges that the Governing and Advisory Boards of ITC are not, and shall not
be, in any way liable to Weld County in connection with ITC, except as otherwise
provided in the Indenture.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that this Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the undersigned affirm that this
Public Entity has received and read the Trust's Information Statement and
Indenture of Trust and agree to be bound by the terms thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the undersigned agree that the
certifications, instructions, and authorizations contained in the attached Trust
Registration Form (which is made a part hereof) will remain in effect until
receipt by the Trust of written notice of charge.
