RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF "STOP" AND "STOP AHEAD" SIGNS ON WELD COUNTY ROADS
86 AND 88 AT WELD COUNTY ROAD 15
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineering Department has recommended to the
Board that "Stop" and "Stop Ahead" signs be installed on Weld County Roads 86 and
88 at Weld County Road 15, to insure safety to the traveling public, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that said traffic devices are necessary
for the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Department of Engineering be, and hereby is, directed
to install "Stop" and "Stop Ahead" signs on Weld County Roads 86 and 88 at Weld
County Road 15, for the safety of the general public, and that said signs must
conform to the State manual and specifications.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 9th day of October, A.D. , 1991.
