RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENTS AND APPOINTMENT TO WELD COUNTY COMMUNITY
CORRECTIONS BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Community Corrections
Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Dick Evans be reappointed to said
board, as a representative with law enforcement background, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Barbara Anderson be reappointed to
said board, as an at-large member, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Cris Arellano be appointed to said
board, to represent the Chief Probation Officer of the 19th Judicial District,
replacing Lee Steele, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Dick Evans and Barbara
Anderson to said board, with their terms to expire August 1, 1996.
WHEREAS, the Board also deems it advisable to appoint Cris Arellano to said
Board, with his term to expire August 1, 1996.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Dick Evans and Barbara Anderson be, and hereby are,
reappointed to the Weld County Community Corrections Board, with their terms to
expire August 1, 1996.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Cris Arellano be, and hereby is,
appointed to said board, with his term to expire August 1, 1996.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 28th day of July, A.D. , 1993.
