RE: APPROVE ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION OF $1,800.00 TO WELD COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR
EARTH DAY SUPPLIES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant
to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the
authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Eastman Kodak, Colorado Division, has donated $1,800.00 to the Weld
County Health Department, to be used specifically for household hazardous waste
wheels which will be distributed on Earth Day, April 20, 1991, and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of Weld County to formally accept all donations via
Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the donation of $1,800.00 by Eastman Kodak, Colorado Division
be, and hereby is, accepted and designated for use by the Weld County Health
Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that a copy of this Resolution, along with
a letter of appreciation, be forwarded to Eastman Kodak, Colorado Division.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of February, A.D. , 1991.

Subject:
As per our discussion, the Weld County Health Department has received a $1,800
donation from Kodak of Colorado. These funds will be used to purchase
household hazardous waste wheels. These wheels will be handed out at Earth
Day on April 20, 1991.
I have attached a memorandum from Wes Potter explaining the donation and a
copy of the Health Department's purchase requisition form outlining the items
to be purchased.

Kodak of Colorado through Barry Sullivan has donated $1,800.00 to purchase
materials to be handed out at Earth Day on April 20th. The Division would like
to receive the funds and purchase the recycling materials through Weld County.
This process will have a minimal impact on the Division and will not cause Weld
County to incur any additional expenses.
