RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND RATIFY APPOINTMENT TO WELD 911 EMERGENCY TELEPHONE
SERVICE AUTHORITY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld 911 Emergency Telephone
Service Authority Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that John MacKenzie be appointed to said
board, to replace Gary Sandau as the fire protection services representative, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that the appointment of Kim Fliethman
replacing Rick Dill as the Sheriff's appointment to said board be ratified, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint John MacKenzie to said
board, with his term to be effective January 19, 1993 through January 10, 1995,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to ratify the Sheriff's appointment
of Kim Fliethman to said board, with his term to be effective January 19, 1993
through January 10, 1995.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that John MacKenzie be, and hereby is, appointed to the Weld
911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board, with his term to be effective
January 19, 1993 through January 10, 1995.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board that the Sheriff's appointment
of Kim Fliethman, with his term to be effective January 19, 1993 through January
10, 1995, be, and hereby is, ratified.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 25th day of January, A.D. , 1993, nunc pro
tunc January 19, 1993.
