COLORADO From George Cicoff, Public Works Director •
Subject: Agenda Item
It has been called to the attention of the Department that there is a need to
change the traffic control signage at the intersection of WCR 32.5 X WCR 21.
Currently, the traffic travels east and west on WCR 32.5, then north on WCR 21
to WCR 34. The southern portion of WCR 21 between WCR 32.5 X Colorado State
Hwy. 66 is scheduled to received an asphalt surfacing. Currently, the flow of
traffic through this intersection is controlled with a stop sign on the
southeast corner which forces northbound traffic on WCR 21 to stop at the
intersection.
It is the recommendation of this Department that once construction is
completed, the existing stop sign be removed and reset on the northeast corner
to control traffic westbound on WCR 32.5 at the 'T' intersection.
All signing will conform to the "Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices" .
Please refer to the attached sketch. By a copy of this memo, we are requesting
Mr. Barker to prepare the appropriate resolution.
