RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE PLOWING PERMIT NO. 93-03, ACCEPT COLLATERAL, AND AUTHORIZE
CHAIRMAN TO SIGN - EQUUS FARMS, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Equus Farms, Inc. , desires to obtain a Plowing Permit to cultivate
certain grassland described as part of Section 18, Township 4 North, Range 61
West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance #108-A, Equus Farms, Inc. , has submitted
proof of collateral in the form of Performance Bond No. 12-13-06, in the amount
of $5,313.00, and all other pertinent documents necessary for the issuance of a
Plowing Permit, and
WHEREAS, Equus Farms, Inc. , has also submitted the required permit fee in
the total amount of $247.71, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it appropriate to approve the issuance of a
Plowing Permit to Equus Farms, Inc. , for those grasslands described in the
approved Soil Conservation Plan, a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Plowing Permit No. 93-03 be, and hereby is, issued to
Equus Farms, Inc.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is,
authorized to sign said Plowing Permit.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the fpllowing vote on the 28th day of July, A.D. , 1993.

by the Weld County Board of County Commissioners on March 11,
1986, and requiring the issuance of permits for the plowout
and cultivation of grassland(s) . Pursuant to said Ordinance,
the Permittee is required to follow a conservation plan
approved by the local Conservation District Board, must pay
all applicable fees pursuant to Ordinance 142 , and must submit
collateral in an amount as set by Ordinance 142 . Said

as Principal, and the NATIONAL UNION FIRE INSURANCE COMPANY OF PITTSBURGH, PA., a
corporation duly organized under the laws of the State of New York (hereinafter called the Surety), as
Surety, are held and firmly bound unto Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado,
(hereinafter called the Obligee), in the sum of Five Thousand Three Hundred Thirteen Dollars and no/100
($5,313.00/100) Dollars, for the payment of which sum well and truly to be made, we the said Principal
and the said Surety, bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, jointly
and severally, firmly by these presents.
Sealed with our seals and dated this 15th day of July, 1993.
WHEREAS, said Principal has entered into a Soil and Water Conservation Plan with said Obligee, for the
conversion of Rangeland to Cropland including Pasture/Hayland for Farm No. 6005, Tract No. 10348
covering 177.1 total acres in accordance with the terms and conditions of said plan, which is hereby
referred to and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CONDITION OF THIS OBLIGATION IS SUCH, That if the above bounden Principal
shall well and truly keep, do and perform each and every, all and singular, the matters and things in said
plan set forth and specified to be by said Principal kept, done and performed, at the times and in the
manner in said plan specified, or shall pay over, make good and reimburse to the above named Obligee,
all loss and damage which said Obligee may sustain by reason of failure or default on the part of said
Principal so to do, then this obligation shall be null and void; otherwise shall remain in full forces and
effect.
