RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF JOHN PICKLE AS LOCAL HEALTH OFFICER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Colorado statute, specifically Section 25-1-601, C.R.S. , provides
for the appointment of a local health officer by the Board of County
Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, John Pickle has previously been appointed Public Health
Administrator and Director of the Weld County Health Department, and
WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it advisable to also
appoint John Pickle as the Local Health Officer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that John Pickle be, and hereby is, appointed to serve as the
Local Health Officer, as well as the Public Health Administrator and Director of
the Weld County Health Department.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 15th day of November, A.D. , 1993.
