RE: APPROVE REMOVAL OF JERRY FRANZ FROM AREA AGENCY ON AGING
ADVISORY BOARD FOR NON-ATTENDANCE
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter , is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Board has been advised that Jerry Franz has
missed at least three consecutive meetings of the Area Agency on
Aging Advisory Board, and has not named a proxy for any of the
missed meetings, and
WHEREAS, the above named person has not complied with the
bylaws of the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board; therefore , it
has been recommended by the Chair of said Board that he be
removed, and
WHEREAS, after consideration, the Board deems it advisable to
remove the aforementioned person from said Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Jerry Franz be, and
hereby is, removed from the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of
December, A.D. , 1990 .
