Dear Connie:
This is to inform you I have accepted a position to work for the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. I will be resigning as Director of
Weld County Health Department in late August, 1993.
My decision to accept a new position has been very difficult because I will be
leaving a very pleasant situation and community. I am hopeful that my new
position will allow me the opportunity to serve on a different and equally as
challenging level.
It has been a wonderful opportunity to work with the Board of County
Commissioners and to serve the people of Weld County. I appreciate the
personal and professional support the Board has granted to me during my time
of service to the County. I will always hold a warm place in my heart for
this wonderful place to live and work.
The Health Department presently has a committed and quality staff. I am sure
that the Department will continue to achieve good things for the people of
Weld County.
Thank you again for your support of me and your commitment to the health of
the people of Weld County.
