RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO FOOD SERVICES CONTRACT FOR THE WELD COUNTY JAIL WITH
SERVICE AMERICA CORPORATION AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Amendment to the Food
Services Contract for the Weld County Jail between the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and
Service America Corporation, commencing August 1, 1994, and ending December 31,
1995, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said amendment, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said
amendment, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Amendment to the Food Services Contract for the Weld
County Jail between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and Service America Corporation be,
and hereby is, approved.
BE,IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is,
authorized to sign said amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,.
adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of June, A.D. , 1994.

AMENDMENT
In accordance with the agreement by and between the Board of
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, hereinafter referred to as
"County" and Service America Corporation, hereinafter referred to
as "Contractor", dated the 1st day of August, 1994, the County and
Contractor desire and agree to extend the terms of the agreement as
follows:
1. The contract shall be renewed by both parties for an additional
year commencing January 1, 1995 through December 31, 1995.
2. The Centennial Deli will close effective August 1, 1994. An
amended meal price list for August 1, 1994 through December 31,
1995 is reflected in ATTACHMENT A.
