ROAD BETWEEN SECTIONS 6&7
AND 5&8 Township 8-61:
• Commissioner Sanden offered the following resolution and moved

its adoption: '
WHEREAS, a petition bearing the signatures.of two thirds of the
property owners adjoining said sections, has been presented to the Board
,of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, asking that the County •
.Road be closed, vacated and abandoned commencing at the SW Corner of Section, •
6; Township:8 North, Range 61 West, east along section line two miles to
•
the SE corner of Section 5, Township,8, Range 61, and, •
WHEREAS, this tInd.said County road is not now being used by the
public for travel and the best interests of the County will be served by
the closing of said road.
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Road described
as follows, Commencing at the SW cornerof Section 6, Township 8 North,
Range 61 West, east along section line two miles to the SE corner of
Section 5, Township 8 North, Range 61 West,-being the County road between
Sections 6 & 7 and 5 & 8, Township 8 North, Range 61 West, is hereby
vacated, abandoned and ordered closed,
The motion was seconded by Commissioner Hanson and the resolution

which is hereby acknowledged, and of the laying out and opening of said road, hereby agrees to give the right of way through
our lands as shown by the plat accompanying this petition, and relinquish all claims for damage by reason thereof.
