RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO PRIVATE INDUSTRY
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, several vacancies currently exist on the Private
Industry Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that the following persons
be appointed to said Council for terms to expire as designated:
NAME REPRESENTING
Terms to expire December 31 , 1990 :
Maurine Garretson Small Business/Retail
Edward Dungan Local Union Board
Nancy Brigden Small Business/Service & City of Greeley
Tom Ivory Job Service/Associate Member
Terms to expire December 31 , 1991 :
Pres L. Montoya Small Business/Real Estate and District
6 School Board
Mike Cogan Large Business/Finance, Insurance, and
Real Estate
Bob Landdeck Large Business/Retail and Service
C. W. Kirby Public Sector
WHEREAS , it has been recommended that Rine Duran and Carolyn
Tuttle be reappointed to said Council, with their terms to expire
December 31 , 1989; and Toby Martinez , Pam Bricker, and Don Cummins
be reappointed to said Council, with their terms to expire
December 31 , 1991 , and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to appoint and reappoint the above
named individuals to the Private Industry Council.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Maurine Garretson,
Edward Dungan, Nancy Brigden, and Tom Ivory be, and hereby are,
appointed to the Private Industry Council , with their terms to
expire December 31 , 1990; and Pres . L. Montoya, Mike Cogan ,to the
Bob
Landdeck, and C. W. Kirby be, and hereby are, app
Private Industry Council, with their terms to expire December 31 ,
1991 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Rine Duran and
Carolyn Tuttle be, and hereby are, reappointed to said Council,
with their terms to expire December 31 , 1989 ; and Toby Martinez ,
Pam Bricker, and Don Cummins be, and hereby are, reappointed to
said Council, with their terms to expire December 31 , 1991 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 14th day of
December, A.D. , 1988 .
