RE: APPROVE QUIT CLAIM MINERAL DEED AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO
SIGN
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Quit Claim
Mineral Deed concerning Weld County' s right, title and interest in
and to all oil, gas and other minerals in and under the following
tract of land in Weld County, Colorado:
Township 5 North, Range 66 West, 6th P.M.
Section 28 : A strip of land 30 feet wide off
the south side of the W}SW*
WHEREAS , after review, the Board deems it advisable to
approve said Quit Claim Mineral Deed to Zion' s First National
Bank, Trustee, a copy being attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Quit Claim
Mineral Deed to Zion' s First National Banjc, Trustee, be, and
hereby is, approved.
RE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is, authorized to sign said Deed.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of
February, A.D. , 1989 .

QUIT CLAIM MINERAL DEED
THIS QUIT CLAIM MINERAL DEED is made this 27th day of February, 1989, by and between
WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, a political subdivision of the State of Colorado acting by and through
the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld ("Weld County"), as Grantor; and ZIONS
FIRST NATIONAL BANK, TRUS 1 EE whose address is c/o Opdyke Agency, Inc., 1309 10th. Avenue,
Greeley, Colorado 80631, as Grantee.
For $10 and other valuable consideration, WELD COUNTY does hereby sell, convey, transfer and
quitclaim unto ZIONS FIRST NATIONAL BANK,TRUSTEE, all of Weld County's right, title and interest
in and to all oil, gas and other minerals in and under and that may be produced from the following tract by

Dear Mr. David:
Enclosed is another Quit Claim Mineral Deed similar to the deed that Bill recently requested concerning
the Nakagawa parcel. Also enclosed is a copy of the deed by which Weld County acquired the involved
strip.
The requested quit claim deed only pertains to the W' SW'/4 of said Section 28 since The Robert Gerrity
Company does not own an interest in the complete SWl/a, and title was not been examined as to the entire
Quarter Section.
As with the Nakagawa Parcel, we would appreciate your taking this to the Board as soon as possible. If
you have any questions concerning this matter, please do not hesitate to call me or Bill Crews.
