All Notices of Assessment were mailed during the week of May 24th. The last batch was taken to be mailed on Thursday May the 23rd. On June 4, 1985 this office mailed a computer listing to the Property f Tax Administrator showing all commercial properties with 1984 assessed tL ' values , 1985 assessed values, amount of increase or decrease and grand totals. After the County Commissioners conclude their hearings in July another listing will be mailed to the Tax Administrator with the changes that were made during County Board Hearings. Since June 1 , 1985 when I started equalization hearings in my office we have had approximately 200 to 250 taxpayers come into the office. To date we have issued 51 protest forms (PR 204) and have mailed 77 of the adjustment or denial forms (PR 205 or PR 206) , 39 of the 77 are commercial values . , Letters received are being handled in the same manner as filing a review form. We retained four of the contract appraisers to help with the incoming traffic and also to go out into the field and check the properties that are in question. Ue are anticipating more traffic during ire last part of the hearings rvnich will end Jury, 25th , 1985. Yours truly, H . H.
