County Clerk and Recorder, did not transfer the mineral rights w z associated with the above described property, and Z cia WHEREAS, Eastman Kodak Company wishes to transfer said w mineral rights to Weld County and has submitted a Quit Claim Deed a to Weld County concerning those mineral rights, and « rt o r-In rl r WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it ai appropriate to accept said Quit Claim Deed, a cope of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference . Box 758 Greeley, CO 80632 To: Board of County Commissioners : In 1980 Kodak donated 4. 4 acres to Weld County for the extension of County Road 66 near Windsor. The property rights were transferred to Weld County; however, the mineral rights associated with the property were not transferred . The IRS has ruled that for Kodak to be able to take advantage of the tax benefits , we must transfer the mineral rights to Weld County. The enclosed Quitclaim Deed transfers the mineral rights to Weld County. The deed is for your information and to process as appropriate . If you have any questions please let me know .
