DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY
Leasehold interest SEIgSW6 and SW'aSE%a Sec.34 T3N, R62W, Weld County, Colorado
State of Colorado #4 and #5 wells (Baney Operator)
respectfully shows that the taxes assessed against your petitioner for the years A. D. 19 81 ,
19..82.., 19$.3..., are erroneous or illegal for the following reasons, viz: Operator has reported
(Give full particulars as to wherein the error or illegality lies.)
the production from these wells for the above mentioned years as being from State f
Colorado #4 and #5 wells. Operator thought that this was sufficient to indicate
that the wells were on State of Colorado land and that no taxes were due or payabl
on the State 12.5% interest. Operator did overlook completing another portion of
the reporting form where it indicates state or federal ownership. For this reason
the taxes for the above mentioned years were assessed on the 100% interest.
This Petition is filed to request a refund of the taxes paid because of this error
on the 12.5% interest owned by the State of Colorado.
