RE : GRANT REQUEST OF MONFORT OF COLORADO, INC. TO PRE-ADVERTISE
AMENDED USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Monfort of Colorado, Inc. has submitted a letter
requesting that an Amended Use by Special Review application be
pre-advertised, and
WHEREAS, a copy of said letter of request is attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS , after review, the Board deems it appropriate to
grant said request to pre-advertise this matter and set the
hearing date as December 9 , 1987 , at 2 : 00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of
Monfort of Colorado, Inc . to pre-advertise an Amended Use by
Special Review application be, and hereby is, granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the hearing date to
consider said request be, and hereby is, set as December 9 , 1987,
at 2 : 00 p.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 4th day of
November, A.D. , 1987 .

Corporate East office building and laboratory. This matter will

RE: Use by Special Review application dated 28 October 1987.
Request for pre-advertising for public hearings.
Dear Ms. Antuna:
We respectfully request that you pre-advertise the above hearings so that we
can appear before the Weld County Planning Commission on Tuesday, December 1 ,
1987, and before the Weld County Board of County Commissioners on Monday,
December 9, 1987.
We are under a very tight time schedule that requires us to have our new
office building complete by January 29, 1908.
Attached is a copy and a site plan of our Use by Special Review application
dated 28 October 1987, which have been submitted to the Planning Department.
