Be it Resolved by the Weld County Planning Commission that the Department of Planning Services' request for an increase in land-use permit application fees for 1988 be recommended favorably to the Board of County Commissioners for the following reasons: The attached materials have been prepared to demonstrate the need for the increased fees. The overall concept is to attempt to recover as much of the costs associated with regulating and administering planning functions in the County, but yet keep the fees reasonable. The fees are not recouping total costs based on the latest available figures used to project the administrative and indirect costs the Planning Department is experiencing. The fees collected go toward supporting costs of the Planning Department. The projected revenue collected will offset approximately 34% of the Department's approved 1988 budget. Motion seconded by Paulette Weaver. VOTE: For Passage Against Passage LeAnn Reid Bud Halldorson Ernie Ross Louis Rademacher Paulette Weaver Ann Garrison The Chairman declared the resolution passed and ordered that a certified copy be forwarded with the file of this case to the Board of County Commissioners for further proceedings.
