HomeMy WebLinkAbout870174.tiff RESOLUTION RE: GRANT MOBILE HOME PERMIT NO. 1270 - ARNOLD AND KIMBERLY MILLER WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, on July 8 , 1986 , ZPMH #1195 was approved for Arnold and Kimberly Miller, granting them temporary storage of a mobile home on Lot 7 , Block 26 , Aristocrat Ranchettes , Weld County, Colorado, which is located in an A-Agricultural Zone District , with said permit expiring January 8 , 1987, WHEREAS, Arnold and Kimberly Miller have advised the Department of Planning Services that a water tap for this lot will not be available for at least another year; therefore they are requesting an extension beyond six months for the temporary storage of said mobile home, and WHEREAS , on the 11th day of March, 1987 , the Board considered the request of Arnold and Kimberly Miller for an extension beyond six months concerning the temporary storage of this mobile home, and WHEREAS, the Board, having heard the testimony, finds that said request should be granted and Mobile Home Building Permit #2458 be transferred to the Mobile Home Zoning Permit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of Arnold and Kimberly Miller for an extension beyond six months for the temporary storage of a mobile home on the hereinabove described property be, and hereby is, granted. Legal Description of Parcel: Lot 7, Block 26, Aristocrat Ranchettes, Weld County, Colorado. -Location: One mile north of Fort Lupton. The Department of Planning Services staff has reviewed this request and recommends that the request be approved for the following reasons: WILL WILL NOT X BA compatible with the Weld County Comprehensive Plan. X Be compatible with the surrounding area. X Be in harmony with the character of the neighborhood. X Adversely affect the immediate area. X Be adequately served by water and sewage disposal. facilities. X Adversely affect the general health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the area and the County. COMMENTS: If approved, this extension will be valid until July 8, 1987. 2PMH-1195 for temporary storage was issued on July 8, 1986, and Expired on January 8, 1987. The applicant has stated that storage of the mobile home on the property is necessary. Robert Miller is buying Lot 7 from Arnold and Kimberly Miller, and has stated to the Department of Planning Services' staff that a water tap will not be available for the lot for a year or more. The applicant did not submit a petition for this proposal. The Department of Planning Services' staff would further recommend that Mobile Home Building Permit #2458 be transferred to this zoning permit. the Department of Planning Services' staff has not received any objections so this request from any of the surrounding property owners. I have -scheduled -a meeting with the Board of County Commissioners on March 4, 1987, at 9:00 a.m. This meeting will take place in the County Commissioners' Hearing Room, first floor, Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado. It is recommended that you and/or a representative be in attendance to answer any questions the Board of -County Commissioners might have with respect to your application.
